What is the Caregiver Campaign?
Each Fall, Kadlec Foundation hosts an annual Caregiver Campaign, inviting Kadlec caregivers to make a personal investment towards their most passionate cause. This campaign allows every member of the Kadlec family to connect with our mission and support our patients through personal financial contributions.
The Caregiver Campaign represents the powerful difference philanthropy can make when a large group of supporters join together to give personally meaningful gifts in support of their passions for improving healthcare in our community.
Is participation mandatory?
No. Financial contributions are 100% voluntary and 100% appreciated.
How can I donate?
Payroll deduction is the easiest way to contribute. Deductions would begin in January each year.
How much should I donate?
It’s up to you! Some caregivers choose to pledge a specific amount to donate at one time while others donate a specific amount bi-weekly over the course of one year. While donations vary, the typical gift is $260. For example, you can make a $10 per paycheck pledge to be automatically deducted over the course of the year, thereby agreeing to donate $260 total towards the fund of your choice.
What will my donation be used for?
You tell us! You may direct your donation to any of the following areas:
- Area of Greatest Need
- Caring Co-worker Program
- Community Health
- Good Samaritan
- Mammography
- Pediatrics
- Scholarships
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Your donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
I already give so much of my time or energy, why should I make a financial donation?
The answer is simple: As caregivers at Kadlec, we have the great privilege of seeing first-hand the impact one person can make on the well-being of our patients. We have a great opportunity to be good stewards of what we have been given. Strong caregiver participation proudly demonstrates to our community that, together, we are invested in Kadlec. And ultimately, giving feels good. Rest assured, every dollar stays local and will be used to support the fund you selected.
