Ways to Give Back to Our Community

Providence Inland Northwest Foundation

Philanthropy has enabled Providence to deliver exceptional health care for all, including the poor and vulnerable, since the Sisters of Providence opened our region's first hospital in 1886.  We are proud to uphold this philanthropic tradition today.

Gift of Cash

There are many ways to support Providence Inland Northwest Foundation. Gifts may be unrestricted and used in the area of greatest need, or you can choose to designate your gift toward a particular program or purpose.

A cash gift is the most common donation made to the foundation. We accept personal checks, credit cards and cash. Gifts can be made online using a credit card. We can also set up a recurring gift so you can make an impact on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.

Give online, phone or email.

Honor a Caregiver

Did someone at Providence improve your experience through exceptional and compassionate care? Would you like the opportunity to say "thank you"?

You can make a gift of gratitude in your caregiver's honor while supporting a local program that's important to you.

When you make a donation, you are not only bringing to light your caregiver’s kindness, but helping enhance the outstanding level of care our community has come to expect from Providence. Your contribution helps purchase state-of-the-art equipment, supports innovative clinical education, and provides support to world-class programs, services, research activities and so much more!

Employee Giving

Providence Inland Northwest Foundation supports program, equipment, patient services and staff education that is not covered in the capital budget. By giving to the campaign, you send a powerful message: we not only work at Providence, we invest in world-class health care for our community.

During our annual Caregiver Campaign we ask you to consider a personal investment at whatever financial level is meaningful to you.

While you can give to any hospital or program you choose, we ask that you consider a gift to one of our hospital's Area of Greatest Need Fund. These funds provide Providence leaders with the flexibility to allocate resources where and when they are needed most, allowing us to react quickly to the changing health care landscape.

"I give because I believe in the Mission of Providence. Our community has a lot of need and giving a portion of my paycheck to our foundation ensures that our organization is better able to care for those who need it most."

Wherever you choose to give, please know that we appreciate everything you do for your patients. Here is one more way you can make a difference.

Host a Fundraiser

host a fundraiser 1

Anyone can hold a community fundraiser to raise money for Providence hospitals and ministries through Providence Inland Northwest Foundation. Whether you are a mom, dad, kid, businessperson or community group, your efforts can provide valuable funding to programs that touch the lives of our patients and families.

It’s a rewarding way to give back to a place that may have personally impacted your life. When you raise money through a community fundraiser, the funds stay local, and you can choose where you would like the money to go—maybe you have a specific hospital, program or project in mind.

Fundraisers can include things like golf outings, fun runs, auctions or toy drives. Choose one that works best for you and rally your friends, family and colleagues around a great cause!

Stocks & Bonds

Donating appreciated stock is one of the easiest ways to help further our Mission. It can also be tax-smart. You can make an outright gift of stock or use stock to fund a more sophisticated planned gift, like a gift annuity.
