Precious Beginnings

Celebrate the birth of your new baby by placing his or her footprint on the Precious Beginnings wall in either the Providence Sacred Heart Women’s Health Center’s Birth Place or the Family Maternity Center at Providence Holy Family Hospital.

Your $125 tax-deductible donation includes a commemorative tile that is displayed on the Precious Beginnings wall, and a keepsake gift of either a matching tile with brass easel or a glass Christmas ornament. You can also purchase additional tiles or ornaments for friends and family.

Proceeds benefit patients and families who spend time with us at our Spokane family birth centers.

Any baby can have their footprint displayed on our wall, regardless of their current age or where they were born. All we need is a high-quality copy or electronic scan of the print.

Use the forms below to purchase your tile at the hospital of your choice. For more information, please call 509-474-4917.

Sea of Possibilities

The colorful fish in the Sea of Possibilities skybridge are sponsored by supporters of Sacred Heart Children's Hospital who want to share these symbols of joy with children and families visiting the hospital.

These three-dimensional sculptures are designed to recognize someone close to you. The occasion could be a retirement, birthday, graduation or even a wedding.

Proceeds from the “Sea of Possibilities” benefit the Child Life Specialist program at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. With your tax-deductible donation, your dedication will be added to a fish in the sky bridge. You may choose a specific fish and dedicate one or both sides.

Forget-Me-Not

The loss of a child is the most painful thing a parent will ever experience. You are not alone.

The Spokane Forget-Me-Not Program was pioneered by a nurse who suffered the loss of her own baby. It offers compassionate support to grieving families during this difficult time. Services are available to address pregnancy, delivery and postpartum needs, as well as intensive grief support and follow-up.

Regardless of the circumstances, every baby deserves to be remembered in a special way. There are hundreds of families who have endured this grief and expressed the need to be able to capture every possible moment with their child before they say their final goodbyes.

You can support this program and commemorate your lost loved one by adding a child’s name to either the Butterfly Room at Holy Family Hospital or the Angel Room at Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Each provide peace, hope and comfort, and offer grieving families a sacred space to create memories and say their last goodbyes to their infant son or daughter. And your donation helps ensure that others will benefit from the Forget-Me-Not Program, which is provided at no additional cost to families.
