The Tomorrow Starts Today campaign is expanding and improving emergency care for people recovering from acute intoxication. Thanks to a $4.3 million grant secured from the Oregon Health Authority, construction is underway on an enlarged Stabilization and Recovery Area (SARA).

The Springs Living, a senior living company based in McMinnville, Ore., has made a gift to Providence Foundations of Oregon to establish The Springs Living Regional Chair of Geriatric Medical Education. 

It happened quickly. John Hubbard was relaxing in his apartment when his cardiologist called, alarmed by something in a blood test taken earlier that day. “He told me to get to the ER ‘right now’,” John recounted. “I felt perfectly fine. But, by the time I arrived I was starting to crash.”

For decades, unwavering support from a special group of charity fundraisers has benefited Providence services for children with special health care needs. With their donation this year, they topped $1 million in total giving to Providence!
