Breaking Ground at Supportive Housing for Homeless Elders
Providence Alaska House is a Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) project designed to address the needs of elders with significant health conditions who are experiencing homelessness.
In this article:
- Providence Alaska House is designed as permanent supportive housing for senior citizens who have nowhere else to live.
- In addition to $6 million appropriated by the Anchorage Assembly, private funders have committed $7 million to move people from shelter to housing.
