Health doesn't just happen when we visit a doctor's office or need care as a patient in a hospital. Our health is integrated into each of our lives as go about the day in our communities. Providence consistently evaluates the health needs of the communities we serve searching for needs that exist and opportunities for creating health for a better world. As you can imagine, no one person or organization can do all that alone. Collaboration is key.

Caring for the Vulnerable

569 ice cleats provided to those experiencing homelessness as safety on the streets in our northern climate is top priority.  

Providing Critical Needs

During 2020, the foundation's Patient Assistance program provided critically needed items or bridge funding to alternate resources for 2,913 patients, allowing them to discharge home sooner and safer.  

Responsive Care

68,645 tests provided at the very first COVID-19 drive thru in Anchorage.
